John E. Ritzert Jr.


John practices taxation, estate planning, probate and estate administration, wills and trusts, business planning, and corporate law on behalf of closely held businesses, their owners, and individuals and their families.  He is admitted to practice in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

John actively volunteers for local non-profit organizations, including the Northern Virginia Community College Educational Foundation, Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board, SkillSource Group, Stop Child Abuse Now of Northern Virginia, Spotlight on the Arts, Inc., and the MBA Alumni Advisory Board of the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech.

He earned a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, an M.A. (Accounting) and a J.D. from The Catholic University of America, and an LL.M. (Taxation) from Georgetown University Law Center.  He is also licensed as a Certified Public Accountant.
